Here we see the data for movies/month vs. books read in a year. Since these are college students being surveyed, the survey team allowed for them to include literature books that they may have read for school, but this does not include text books. Looking at this compelling data we see that students stay pretty active, both mind enhancing and mind dumbing! The amount of movies that someone can cram into a months time is mind blowing! We see a max of 30+ movies a month. Folks, may I remind you that there are only 28 days in February. This accounts for more then 2 movies on some days. WOW!! At this particular school, and with these student's sampled, we do see a relatively alarming rate of the amount of books read/year. Clearly we have some book worms on our hands. Here, again we see a joke-ster in the data, trying to mess thing's up, with 15 books a year read and only 12 movies watched/year. Hasn't this person heard of Movies based off the book? Why spend 10+ hours sitting down reading a book, when you can spend 2 hours watching a movie learning about the same stuff? All in All we see that this data does suggest one major trend; Movies are about 12 times more accurate and entertaining then books.
